About the Company

Ben Zavitz, founded ErgoHP LLC and is the current President and Chief Ergonomist.  He is an award-winning and nationally recognized expert with high energy, a passion for ergonomics and process improvement, and a proven track record of getting results.

 

Ben is a Board Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) with more than 20 years of experience developing, implementing and managing enterprise-wide strategies, tactics and programs related to ergonomics, health and safety, and continuous process improvement programs for General Dynamics, Boeing, Magna Automotive and many Fortune 500 companies. Ben received his BSc in Kinesiology / Ergonomics from the University of Waterloo, Canada, and is certified in Lean Six Sigma and was trained by the Shingijutsu Global Consulting firm from Japan.

 

A pioneer in the integration of ergonomics into Lean Manufacturing, starting with his early career in the automotive industry, then proceeding to the aerospace industry where he was classically trained in Lean systems by the Shingijutsu Global Consulting firm from Japan while working for The Boeing Company. Ben later refined the Achieve More with LESS (Lean Ergonomics Six Sigma) concept and successfully implemented it in the medical device, electronic, pharmaceutical/biotech, beverage/food and shipyards industries.
